Ms. Marxen has experience with labor and employment litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants.  In particular, Ms. Marxen seeks to assist women who have suffered sexual harassment and/or retaliation in the work place.  Ms. Marxen can assist with the following:

• appealing decisions of the Employment Development Department on unemployment insurance benefits;

• consulting with employers to prevent potential claims by drafting employment agreements, separation agreements, meal period waiver forms, and employee warning forms as well as conducting presentations to employers and employees on wage and hour laws and sexual harassment prevention; and
